Spicy granola 

This granola is a delicious addition to your breakfast, enriched with the flavors of speculaas and also baked deliciously crunchy!

    Requirements

  • 150 grams oat flakes
  • 50 grams chia seeds
  • 100 grams pecans
  • 50 grams almond meal
  • 80 grams sunflower seeds
  • 35 gram speculaaspasta
  • 50 ml melted coconut oil
  • 40 ml agave syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • cinnamon
  • 3 De Ruiter’s speculaas cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 185 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Leave out the speculaas cookies. 
  1. Mix the coconut oil, speculaas paste and agave syrup in a separate bowl. 
  1. Add this together and mix the wet ingredients thoroughly into the dry ones. 
  1. Spread your mixture thinly on the baking sheet. Put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes and make sure it doesn’t burn. Remove it from the oven as soon as it looks golden brown. 
  1. Let the baking sheet cool thoroughly. After cooling, you can break up the sheet into smaller pieces of granola.
