Speculaas twisters 

A simple recipe for a delicious autumnal snack! It only requires 4 ingredients; you make it in no time ready to enjoy!


  • 1 roll puff pastry from the fridge
  • 3 tablespoons speculaas paste
  • 3 tablespoons speculaas paste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • optional: cinnamon sugar
  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. 
  1. Roll out your puff pastry all the way. 
  1. Spread the speculaas paste on half of your puff pastry. 
  1. Crumble the speculaas cookies on top. 
  1. For the real sweet tooth, now you can add the cinnamon sugar. 
  1. Fold the empty half of your puff pastry over the filled side. 
  1. Using a pizza cutter (or knife), cut long strips. 
  1. Twist these strips and then roll them up. 
  1. Place them on the baking sheet, brush them with some melted butter and crumble some more speculaas cookie over them. 
  1. Put them in the oven for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool well after.
