Granola bar with speculaas 

A delicious and healthy snack with a hint of speculaas! Perfect for the afternoon.

    Requirements

  • 180 grams oat flakes
  • 50 grams flaked almonds
  • 40 grams pecans
  • 45 grams pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 100 grams speculaas crumbs (approximately)
  • A teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 120 ml honey
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil (weigh in with recipe)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. 
  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. 
  1. Melt the coconut oil and mix in the honey and vanilla extract. 
  1. Mix together until the wet ingredients are well blended with the dry ingredients. 
  1. Line your baking tin with parchment paper and fill it with the granola mixture. 
  1. Press this firmly with the back of a spoon. 
  1. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes, until this is golden brown or until the edges start to get color. 
  1. Let cool thoroughly before removing from the tin. Half an hour to an hour should be sufficient. 
  1. Cut the granola bar into pieces and store in an airtight cookie container.
