Speculaas truffles   

A sweet snack that you can really enjoy. A guilty pleasure for many!


  • 5-7 Speculaas De Ruiter’s speculaas windmill cookies
  • 5-7 Speculaas De Ruiter’s speculaas windmill cookies
  • 150 grams melted dark chocolate
  • A little melted white chocolate for garnish
  • Food processor (or mortar)
  1. Put the speculaas cookies in the food processor and blend them into crumbs. 
  1. Now add the speculaas paste and run the food processor. 
  1. Now it’s time to add the melted chocolate. Should the mixture become too wet, add in a speculaas cookie. Let this mixture rest for a while. 
  1. Now form balls of the cooled mixture. 
  1. Place them on parchment paper once they are round. 
  1. Decorate the truffles with white chocolate and put them in the fridge for a while. After half an hour you can serve them!
